A gay Trump superfan claims President Trump actually “likes all LGBT Americans” because he received a signed “Keep America Great” again hat in the mail – presumably after he purchased it online.
Twitter user Brokeback Patriot shared a video showing off his new hat as proof that Trump is actually a proud LGBT ally.
“liberal LGBT says Trump doesn’t like me because I’m gay. If that’s true, why did he send me this? I think Trump does like me. He might actually like all LGBT Americans What a concept,” he tweeted.
“So liberals from the LGBT community are attacking me and saying that I’m stupid for supporting Donald Trump,” the self-described “free thinker” says in the video. “They say he doesn’t like me. Well, if that’s true then why did he sign this hat and literally send it to my house. I mean, he literally signed this hat and mailed it to my house. So I think he does like me. He might actually like all gay people, I mean wow, what a concept.”

The tweet comes nearly two months after the Trump administration formally rolled back an Obama-era policy that protected LGBTQ patients from discrimination. The finalized rule was released on the fourth anniversary of the Pulse massacre, when a gunman opened fire at an Orlando gay bar, killing 49 people.
The Trump administration also submitted a brief to the Supreme Court in June arguing that a taxpayer-funded organization should be able to refuse to work with same-sex couples and others whom the group considers to be in violation of its religious beliefs.
Gay Twitter dragged Brokeback Patriot for the tweet, with one Twitter user writing: “You bought and paid for a signed hat. Congratulations.”
“Sell it on eBay and donate the few dollars to LGBTQ’s charity’s,” another Twitter user suggested,
If you’re stuck in his basement and is making you say this, blink twice,” wrote a concerned Twitter user, while another wrote: “Ur damage is showing.”
Others wondered if the tweet was a sad attempt at satire.
Brokeback Patriot’s Twitter feed is filled with endless posts claiming he has been targeted by the “LGBT mob” and has been “fired” from his job for supporting a racist demagogue.
There are so many gays like me who support our President but they are afraid to speak out because of bullies in the LGBT. It’s sad really. We are supposed to be the community of tolerance. We should learn to be kind to others with different ideas & opinions. Isn’t that diversity? pic.twitter.com/HRd3m1EvXC

A woman was attacked by a bison as she was trying to take photos while standing just feet away from a herd at Custer State Park in South Dakota.
The encounter was captured on video and shows a group of motorcycle riders stopped in a road as a large herd crosses the roadway.
A woman is seen walking over to the grass and sitting down to get a picture of a mother bison and her calf.
Another bison then charges the woman and hooks its horn on her jeans, flinging her around in the air.
She is thrown out of her pants and lands on the ground as people rush over to offer her first aid.
Custer State Park officials in a statement Friday said the incident is a warning about the dangers of approaching the animals.
“This was certainly an unfortunate occurrence. We cannot caution visitors enough to respect the space of these animals and all the animals they encounter in the park,” the statement said.
The park’s superintendent, Matt Snyder, told News Channel 1 that the victim, a 54-year-old woman from Iowa, was transported to a hospital via life-flight in unknown condition.
Park visitor Jo Reed, who filmed the video, said the incident happened Wednesday.
“The bison were everywhere we went, herds and herds of them,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “We came around a curve just behind a group of motorcyclists and there was a herd standing in the middle of the road, most noticeably a cow (female) and her calf which was nursing.”
Reed said she stood out of the top of her Jeep to take photos and saw one woman get off her motorcycle and approach the herd.
She wanted to share the video of the attack as a reminder of the dangers of confronting a wild animal.
“PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO share this, so people understand they’re about to die when they confront an animal this powerful. Thankfully the ranger did not need to tranquilize the bison,” Reed wrote.

A federal judge appointed by President Donald Trump ruled Friday that a Christian photographer in Louisville can turn away same-sex couples despite the city’s ordinance prohibiting LGBT discrimination.
U.S. District Judge Justin Reed Walker issued an injunction blocking the city from enforcing its Fairness Ordinance against Chelsey Walker, who claims she can only photograph weddings between a man and a woman due to her religious beliefs.
“America is wide enough for those who applaud same-sex marriage and those who refuse to,” Judge Walker wrote in a 27-page opinion, according to the Courier Journal. “The Constitution does not require a choice between gay rights and freedom of speech. It demands both.
“Just as gay and lesbian Americans ‘cannot be treated as social outcasts or as inferior in dignity and worth,’” Walker wrote, quoting the U.S. Supreme Court’s opinion in Obergefell v. Hodges, “neither can Americans ‘with a deep faith that requires them to do things passing legislative majorities might find unseemly or uncouth.’”
The judge added that “her photography is art” and “art is speech,” saying the government can’t compel speech when it violates someone’s religious beliefs. Although photography is wordless, he wrote, “so too is refusing to salute the flag or marching in a parade, both of which the Supreme Court has said are protected forms of speech.”
More from the Courier Journal: The ACLU said in a brief that if Nelson could refuse service to same-sex couples on First Amendment grounds, another photographer could turn away interracial or interfaith couples, or African American or Muslim couples. “There is no question that Louisville has the authority to prohibit businesses that choose to operate within its boundaries from discriminating in their sales of goods and services to the public,” it said. The city also said it had never taken or threatened enforcement action against Nelson.
Trump first nominated Walker, a protégé of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, to serve as a judge for the Western District of Kentucky last year. The Senate confirmed Walker despite the American Bar Association rating him “not qualified,” citing his lack of “any significant trial experience.”
Walker, 37, once clerked for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. During Kavanaugh’s controversial confirmation process, Walker gave more than 70 TV interviews defending his former boss against sexual assault allegations leveled by Christine Blasey-Ford.
Earlier this year, Trump rewarded Walker by nominating him to serve on the powerful U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. The Senate confirmed him to that position in June.
Lambda Legal, the LGBT civil rights group, was among the groups that opposed Walker’s confirmation.
“Judge Walker is just the latest in a long line of judicial nominees championed by right wing organizations like the Federalist Society for their zealous opposition to the Affordable Care Act, as well as other extremist views, jeopardizing the lives of LGBT people and others who need access to fair and impartial courts,” Lambda Legal wrote.
