Dua Lipa ‘Horrified’ At DaBaby’s Vile Homophobic Rant: “I Stand 100% With The LGBTQ Community”

Dua Lipa forcefully condemned DaBaby after the rapper was recorded making vile homophobic remarks during his set at Rolling Loud Miami over the weekend.

During his set, DaBaby said, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up… Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”

On Tuesday, July 27th, Dua Lipa issued a statement addressing the homophobic rant made by her “Levitating” remix collaborator on her Instagram Stories: “I’m surprised and horrified at DaBaby’s comments.”

“I really don’t recognize this as the person I worked with,” she continued. “I know my fans know where my heart lies and that I stand 100% with the LGBTQ community. We need to come together to fight the stigma and ignorance around HIV/AIDS.”

In response to the controversy, DaBaby doubled down on his comments in several videos posted to his own Instagram Stories Monday,

“What I do at a live show is for the live show,” DaBaby said (per Billboard). “It’ll never translate correctly to somebody looking at a little five-, six-second clip from their crib on their phone. It just don’t work like that, right? Regardless of what y’all motherfuckers are talking about and how the internet twisted up my motherfucking words, me and all my fans at the show, the gay ones and the straight ones, we turned the fuck up.”

Woman Who Told GOP Sen. Rand Paul To “Get Fu**ed” During Live Town Hall Reveals Her Identity

During a virtual town hall last week, GOP Sen. Rand Paul was told off by a woman who identified herself as a “Kentucky citizen.”

“We’ll go ahead to our next question now,” the moderator said. “This is Alexis Toon. You are live with the senator. You can go ahead and ask your question.”

“Hi Senator,” Toon began. “I am a proud Kentucky citizen and I just wanted to tell you to get fucked!”

Many Twitter users applauded the caller for torching the Republican senator just days after he accused Dr. Anthony Fauci of lying to Congress about whether the National Institutes of Health funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, an accusation that sparked an angry shouting match.

Shortly after the clip went viral on social media, the caller took to TikTok to take her standing ovation, sharing a video of her driver’s license to prove she was the “Alexis Toon.”

FL GOP Candidate Laughed Off Twitter After Claiming “There Are No Pronouns In The Bible”

Failed Republican candidate Lavern Spicer is being laughed off the internet this week after she took to Twitter to claim that “There are no pronouns in the Bible.”

Spicer, who ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Florida’s 24th Congressional District in 2020, was flooded with thousands of replies pointing out that the Bible is filled with pronouns.

A seminary alum took to TikTok to ask Spicer why he was required to memorize a pronoun chart in his biblical Greek class and another pronoun chart in his biblical Hebrew class.

One Twitter user responded to Spicer’s tweet, writing: “It says “He” like a billion times in the Bible what the fuck are you talking about?”

Matt Gaetz’s Future Sister-In-Law Rips ‘Pedophile’ Congressman On TikTok: Report

Rep. Matt Gaetz’s future sister-in-law has reportedly taken to TikTok to describe the embattled Florida congressman as “weird and creepy” and said she was “unfortunately not surprised” he is under federal investigation for alleged sex crimes.

Roxanne Luckey, the sister of Gaetz’s fiancée, Ginger Luckey, slammed the Republican congressman in a series of three TikTok videos over his alleged treatment of young women, according to the Daily Beast.

On Monday, the 20-year-old alleged that Gaetz pressured an older man to court her when she was 19 — calling the move “weird and creepy” and claiming he yelled at her and her mom and went “full lawyer” when confronted by her, according to her TikTok video.

“I saw the character and type of person he is, and when everything came out about him, I honestly, unfortunately, was not surprised,” Roxanne, who worked as a White House intern last year, revealed on TikTok.

“As someone who has personally experienced a ton of creepy old politician men hitting on me when I was underage and experiencing sexual assault at that age by people of power, it’s very disheartening and I have zero tolerance of people like [Gaetz],” she said, adding that she was “tired of them getting away with this type of stuff.”

Roxanne said she decided to open up partly because of her interactions with powerful men and her belief that it is important to “hold people accountable to whatever extent we can.”

“There is so much more to the story and about what I know about Matt Gaetz. It is definitely a serious situation,” she said.

In a video she posted Sunday, she was seen dancing and lip-synching to Lana Del Ray’s “Jealous Girl” with a New York Times headline in the background reading “Matt Gaetz Is Said to Face Justice Dept. Inquiry Over Sex With an Underage Girl.”

“When a creepy old man tries to hit on you at the bar but your sisters [sic] engaged to a literal pedophile,” wrote Roxanne, who the following day apologized for using the term “pedophile” and changed her description to “ephebophile.”

The term refers to someone who is sexually attracted primarily to those in mid- to late adolescence — mostly ages 15 to 19.

She also said she heard “through the grapevine” that Gaetz “had a reputation of prowling after college girls when he’s a grown man, and to me that’s just kind of weird.”

“There’s two sides to every story and I acknowledge that, but this is what I experienced,” Roxanne added, acknowledging that “everything is hearsay.”

The Daily Beast said it has verified with a former Trump official that Roxanne had worked as an intern during the summer of 2020.

Ginger claimed to the Daily Beast that she and her sister have been estranged.

“Matt and I are enjoying our engagement and are deeply in love. My estranged sister is mentally unwell,” Ginger told the outlet in a text message.

“She has been in therapy for years and our family hopes that after receiving in-patient mental health treatment, she will overcome the tendency she has repeatedly shown to engage in destructive behavior,” she added.

Gaetz is allegedly being investigated by the feds over potentially violating federal sex-trafficking laws.

Joel Greenberg, a former Seminole County tax collector and close Gaetz ally, has already pleaded guilty to federal sex-trafficking charges and is reportedly cooperating with authorities.

Rapper Dababy Delivers Homophobic, Anti-AIDS Interlude at Rolling Loud, Doubles Down on Comments; T.I. Comes to His Defense

Rapper Dababy has come under fire in recent days for homophobic and HIV/AIDS-negative comments he made onstage at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami over the weekend and doesn’t appear to be backing down. During his performance at the famed hip hop festival, Dababy said the offending comments between songs in what he called a “call to action.”

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two or three weeks, put your cellphone light in the air,” he said. “Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put your cellphone light in the air. Fellas, if you ain’t suck a n**** dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lights in the air. Keep it fucking real.”

The comments immediately drew backlash online, but at least one hip hop heavyweight, T.I., backed up Dababy’s comments by invoking the name of proudly out gay rapper Lil Nas X. “If Lil Nas X can kick his shit in peace… so should dababy #equality,” replied T.I. to The Shade Room’s coverage of the incident. He further defended Dababy’s homophobia in an Instagram Live video.

“To be honest, if homosexuals have more rights than heterosexuals, then just say that. If homosexuals have more rights than heterosexuals, then just say that. Let that be the law. Is that the law,” T.I. said. “I respect gays, especially the ones that have the bravery and the courage to step out and live their truth. I respect that … but I respect it the same way if you a heterosexual. So I don’t see what all the hoopla is about. Y’all motherfuckers just up in arms and fake caring about shit because you ain’t got shit else going on in your life.”

“You can’t make me homophobic because I’m proud to be a heterosexual … just because I am proud of what I am don’t make me hate what you are, period,” he added. “Ain’t no way to tangle or twist that. Ain’t no hate in that … If you’re gonna have the Lil Nas X video and living his truth, you’re gonna damn sure have people like Dababy who’s gonna speak they truth. And it ain’t nothing wrong with any of it. It ain’t got to be no hate. It’s all honesty.”

Dababy’s comments and T.I.’s subsequent defenses of the artist came just days after Lil Nas X’s latest single and video, “Industry Baby,” debuted, complete with his trademark references to queer sexuality, a choice reference to Waka Flocka Flame and a fundraiser for The Bail Project. Jack Harlow, who features on the track alongside Lil Nas X, performed the song at Rolling Loud without Lil Nas X.

According to Newsweek, Dababy also took to Instagram to expound on his onstage comments and tell his critics to “shut the fuck up”, doubling down on his homophobic language and conflation between HIV/AIDS, sexual deviancy and social classification of gay men. “Regardless of what you motherfuckers are talking about and how the internet twisted up my motherfucking words, me and all my fans at the show, the gay ones and the straight ones, we turned the fuck up,” he said.

“All the lights went up, gay or straight. You wanna know why? Because even my gay fans don’t got fucking AIDS… They don’t got AIDS. My gay fans, they take care of theyself, they ain’t going for that. They ain’t no nasty gay n*****. They ain’t no junkies on the street,” Dababy continued.

“I said, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone light up. You know what my gay fans did? Put that motherfucking light up. My gay fans, they ain’t going for that. They got class. They ain’t sucking no dick in no parking lot. You gotta get a room, a good one—five-star hotel … Even my gay fans got standards.”

While Dababy clearly isn’t backing away from his homophobic comments, he is also in hot water regarding another moment during his Rolling Loud performance. Dababy took the stage immediately after Megan Thee Stallion, and brought a disguised Tory Lanez, the man who allegedly shot her, onstage.
